DATA PROTECTION AND DATA MANAGEMENT NOTICE OF PROFITIUM.HU LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY
I. Purpose and Scope of the Notice
1.1 The purpose of this Notice is to set out the data protection and data management principles and policy applied by Profitium.hu Ltd. (registered office: 2161 Csomád, Kossuth Lajos út 47.) (“Company”), which the Company, as a data controller, acknowledges as binding upon itself.
1.2 The Company primarily provides marketing consulting and advertising campaign management services to its clients. In connection with this, in most cases, it acts as a data processor on behalf of its clients, who are the data controllers, processing the data transferred to it by its clients. However, there may be cases where the Company acts as an independent data controller.
1.3 In drafting the provisions of this Notice, the Company paid particular attention to the following legislation:
Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (“General Data Protection Regulation” or “GDPR”)
Act CXII of 2001 on the Right of Informational Self-Determination and on Freedom of Information (“Infotv.”)
Act XLVIII of 2002 on the Basic Conditions and Certain Limitations of Economic Advertising Activity (“Grtv.”)
Act CVIII of 2003 on Certain Issues of Electronic Commerce Services and Information Society Services
II. Definitions

III. Legal Basis and Purpose of Data Processing
3.1 The purpose of data processing is the fulfillment of services provided by the Company, communication, fulfillment of contractual obligations, marketing communication (if the data subject has consented), and compliance with legal obligations.
3.2 The legal basis for data processing may be:
the data subject’s consent
performance of a contract
compliance with legal obligations
the legitimate interest of the Company
IV. Scope of Processed Data
The scope of personal data processed by the Company depends on the nature of the given service and typically includes:
name, email address, phone number
company name, tax number, registered office
contact details
contractual information
contents of electronic communication
V. Data Retention Period
The Company retains data:
based on consent, until consent is withdrawn
during the contractual relationship and for the civil law limitation period afterward (usually 5 years)
in the case of accounting documents, for 8 years in accordance with the Accounting Act
VI. Access to and Transfer of Data
6.1 Only employees of the Company who are authorized and need access to perform their duties may access the data.
6.2 The Company may use a data processor and may transfer data to authorities in cases specified by law.
VII. Rights of Data Subjects
Data subjects have the right to:
request information about the processing of their personal data
request rectification, deletion, or restriction of data processing
object to the data processing
withdraw consent at any time
seek legal remedy from the NAIH or a court
VIII. Data Security
The Company ensures the security of personal data with appropriate technical and organizational measures, protecting it from unauthorized access, alteration, transmission, disclosure, deletion, or destruction.

The Company reserves the right to unilaterally amend this notice. The amended notice will be published in an appropriate manner with the effective date indicated.
